Holmleigh Park High School

Timetables

From Easter, we will be making some changes to provide an even better online curriculum.

Please click below for more information on each year group's timetable.

Year 7

Year 7 will continue to study the same subjects, but on a simplified timetable. This means, for example, that all classes will be set Maths work at the same time.

Year 8

Year 8 will continue to study the same subjects, but on a simplified timetable. This means, for example, that all classes will be set Maths work at the same time.

Year 9

Year 9 will continue to study the same subjects as before, but to simplify the process of setting and collecting work, most classes will now take place at the same time.

Due to the complex timetable used for options, some students take different subjects in different option slots. If students are not sure where they take an option (for example, students could take History as any of their option slots), they simply need to check Google Classroom. Work will only be set on the day they would have had that lesson. So for example, work for Option A will only be set on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Year 10

Year 10 will continue to study the same subjects as before, but to simplify the process of setting and collecting work, most classes will now take place at the same time.

Due to the complex timetable used for options, some students take different subjects in different option slots. If students are not sure where they take an option (for example, students could take History as Option A, B or C), they simply need to check Google Classroom. Work will only be set on the day they would have had that lesson. So for example, work for Option A will only be set on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Year 11

Year 11 will not be taking GCSEs this summer - but we expect all students to progress on to Sixth Form, college, or an apprenticeship.

It is therefore essential that students keep learning - five months without study will cause students to slip significantly backwards.

We have put together two different pathways for students, which will begin on 21st April.

Year 12

Year 12 will continue to bet set work on Google Classroom according to their individual timetables.

Year 13

Year 13 will not be returning to school in September, and therefore we have elected to focus on work which will prepare them for university or apprenticeships.

Details of appropriate projects have been sent to all students.
