PSHE curriculum
a letter for year 7-10 Students
Dear Parent/Carer,
We are delighted this year to have introduced a fortnightly lesson of PSHE into the curriculum for Yr’s7-10. The decision was made to support the new statutory guidelines to implement Health Education (HE) and Relationship Sex Education (RSE).
As an school we recognise the importance and value of delivering this curriculum, providing our young people within our school community the opportunity to learn and discuss a range of topics in a well informed and supportive environment. Each term will consist of six lessons of PSHE, as well as private study skills and career skills. The PSHE topics being studied this term are;
