Riley's Book of condolences

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Riley Davies, a much-loved Year 11 student at Holmleigh Park. Riley was known for his warmth and sense of humour. He had a real passion for art, which he intended to pursue after school. Riley was an adventurous young man who lived life to the full.

This book of condolences is a space for students, staff and friends to share their memories, messages of support and tributes to Riley. We invite you to leave a message as we come together to remember him and celebrate his life.

    Riley was a kind, funny and much-loved member of our school community. His presence brought joy to those around him and he will be deeply missed by students, staff and everyone at Holmleigh Park. It was a privilege to have him as part of our school. On behalf of the whole school, I offer my deepest condolences to Riley’s family and friends. Our thoughts are with you all.

    Riley was a very enthusiastic student and I really enjoyed teaching him. After school he would come to my room for a chat and it was always a pleasure to spend time with him and I will miss his sense of humour and his smile. My deepest condolences to Riley's family. He will be truly missed.

    I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Riley. I had the privilege of teaching him Science during KS3 and will always remember his warmth and presence in the classroom. My thoughts and love are sent to Riley's family and friends at this difficult time.

    I fondly remember the countless hours spent before school in IT3 completing Wordle,flag quizzes and geography games and commenting about the amount of food in his lunchbox. He was funny and charming. He was always energetic and full of stories. He will be sadly missed.

    I fondly remember teaching Riley in KS3 English, and taking him on the DofE expedition, where he cheerful encouraged his team mates to not give up and happily helped when someone was in need of a helping hand. It was a privilege to know Riley and he will be greatly missed. My love and thoughts go to his friends and family at this sad time.

    Altough I never taught Riley, I often met him around school with his close group of friends. He was always friendly, kind and considerate of others. He will be very much missed as a valued member of our school community. I offer my sincere condolences to all the family in such a difficult time.

    I will greatly miss Riley. He was funny and caring student who looked out for this friends and brought a smile to so many as he was always cracking jokes. Teaching Riley was a joy and a privilege, and I will cherish the memories I shared with him. My thoughts go out to his parents, family and friends.
