Dear Parent/Carer,

I would like to thank parents for their support this term in helping us raise the standards on our school uniform. Holmleigh Park continues to set a very high expectation of student’s appearance and uniform and the improvement since June 1st has been significant. As we look forward to the summer holidays, a time when students often adjust their appearance, I would like to take this opportunity to remind parents/carers and students of the key uniform expectations to avoid any unnecessary conflict on students return in September;

Students must wear smart black ‘polishable’ shoes.

Students’ trousers must be ‘tailored’ and sit comfortably over the laces. Please check length towards the end of the summer to ensure trousers are still an acceptable length.

Students are permitted to wear one pair of plain gold or silver stud earrings in the ear lobe, all other piercings are not acceptable.

Students are not allowed to wear false nails, nail varnish or make up.

Students are not permitted to have extreme hair colours, or hair styles including ‘tramlines’.

Please continue to support HP in maintaining the high standards of appearance that we expect, to prepare students for the work environment and maintain our growing reputation within the community.

*Please note that Trutex have received samples of the new uniform (Blazers and skirts) which can be tried for size. They are now in a position to take orders for these items which will be available for purchase from the 20th August. The new HPHS PE kit is now also available for purchase.*
